The War on Women/Mommies in US vs in other countries, including Our Bodies, Ourselves, and more

By August 19, 2013 - 6:03pm

Back again with another copied and pasted old thread that I did somewhere else that I used to belong to.

Here we go again with this and please feel free to look at my other work on/off of here for more info regarding where I'm coming from.

What the heck is going on with The War on Women in US vs in other countries? What will it take for it to go away in US because to me its still a useless fight and etc?

I for one I'm way beyond fed up with all of this including feminism and etc along those lines. Because I for one really found that it useless more anything else.

I find that modern day feminism/equality is way worse then what it was in the past because we really haven't gotten anywhere with it. Hopefully there is some middle ground to be find here because its still important topics to be covered no matter what. At least in my own opinion and in which I have say that I'm really a right, repuplican, conservative, etc whatever else its called. I mean with my whole life and not just now.

Back again with questioning the never ending Mommies Wars. Especially, me whom has yet to reach this stage of her life. At the same time who's is very passionate about particular subject for long as she can remember. Still waiting for my Mr. Right to come along, sweep me off of my feet, and beyond. With reading the books (Expecting Better: Why the Conventional Pregnancy Wisdom is Wrong and What You Really Need to Know, Emily Oster, Parenting Without Borders: Surprising Lessons Parents Around the World Can Teach Us, Christine Gross-Loh, The Business of Baby: What Doctors Don't Tell You, What Corporations Try to Sell You, and How to Put Your Pregnancy, Childbirth, Baby Before Their Bottom Line, Jennifer Margulis, Homeward Bound: Why Women are Embracing the New Domesticity, Emily Matchar). That I have read lately. In which I for one never read every single thing, but from here and to there. This also goes or everything else that's out there no matter if its the same genre or entire different genre Will be the same in the future as well. Found that most of them are more the same as before then anything else.I should know since I have been learning, researching, and beyond all of this quite some time now. Well, not in depth, but scratch the surface of it. I'm wondering if it would be easier for all involve to have professional writers to have a some kind of combination advance degrees instead of having one or a degree or none or etc. This includes the ones that are parents themselves as well.

Heres something else thats copied, pasted, old blog entry with the links removed again.

Update and open letter to OBOS (Our Bodies, Ourselves) and etc

Back again with update and in addition to the update this will be an open letter. I'm making this an open letter to Our Bodies, Ourselves and the rest of the organizations in the Feminist Movement (at least ones in the US). Because it appears that all of my comments that I made on Our Bodies, Our Blog regarding all of this have mysterious deleted. In which I have yet to receive a response from them and which their office is very slow at. This hasn't been my 1st time dealing with their office as well.

Here we go again with another XPosted from my comment regarding a earlier entries regarding all of this. At the same time have added, fixed, removed areas to this and etc.

Yeah to all of this and etc. This is coming from someone whom isn’t on the left or right side persay, spl (spelling), but more in the middle and etc.

Now, this one is in regards to Our Bodies, Our Votes.

Why is the feminist movement such a big deal and especially in the US?

Mean just look at the history of it. Unsure how to explain the history here. Is it possible to make small deal or do away with it? As for I’m still totally unsure regarding of this and etc. This isn’t going to be review like the other posts/threads that I have done prior to this one. Instead its going to be more of me questioning certain aspects of their work, mainly in US.

Do you think that their work is more liberal stance as opposed being neutral or conservative as what claimed it to be? They have always been non for profit (rallies on private donations) as opposed being for profit (rallies commercial donations or something else along those lines, which I have no clue as to what it is/are).

As for me really never questioned them until now because always looked at their positives as opposed to their negatives. Even though I have most of their books in my collection, but still I’m starting to question their work and etc. Have to say that I found myself more neutral to conservative as opposed to liberal to neutral. My parents are the same way as me, but I’m unsure regarding my sister.

Conservative alternative/s to Our Bodies, Ourselves

I have unlinked from the linked that I had before because I used post about this all the time in the past. In which led me being known as a spammer and etc.

Know that Our Bodies, Ourselves is more liberal then conservative throughout their history. They never claimed to be because they are a non profit organization, but I still suspect it. Especially, with one of their bloggers whom I know is more liberal then conservative, but at same time I'm not too sure if the another one is a liberal or conservative or whatever it maybe. Have to say it really has become more apparent then ever during this past year. Now, I really love to know if there is/are conservative alternative/s to it/them because I for I'm beyond fed up with and etc. When my family and me are more conservatives then liberals. Even through I try my best to remain independent then anything else.
