Wendy shares if she has tried alternative treatments to compensate for her compromised immune system due to alopecia.

Wendy:
To help with my alopecia, because I have a compromised immune system, I have sought help from naturopathic doctors, anything in the alternative genera or integrative

I’m very, I have educated myself a lot on integrative health – East meets West, because it’s a really good place to help to educate our doctors.

I had a very difficult time through menopause with this and I felt that it was because of my compromised immune system that my hormones went crazy.

So in order to help myself I was advised by my naturopath doctor on an anti-inflammatory diet, as least stress as possible, yoga, gentle exercise, you can live your life pretty normally but again, I can’t emphasize that enough.

We need to take care of ourselves - that little bit more than the average person. So diet is important. Keep your stress at a minimum.

Exercise, have good healthy relationships, reach out, connect, all the things that make a complete well person.
