Hair Loss: Are You Taking Supplements?

Joyce shares the supplements she is taking and the effectiveness of these.

Joyce:
Supplements – I take several just for good overall health each day. Glucosamine, vitamins, and that sort of thing but specifically with regard to hair loss, one of the things I have started using at the suggestion of my hairdresser is a product called Eufora and it’s a fortified carotene protein spray.

So you spray it on, typically along my hairline and in the crown of my hair and then you massage it and with your hand for 30-60 seconds before you put any other product on. So it’s, you didn’t even feel it.

It doesn’t make your hair look or feel any different, but it’s basically food for my scalp and for the hair follicles is my understanding of it, and is supposed to promote hair growth and healthy hair.

That, plus biotin. She also suggested that I get biotin. I take 5,000 mg a day. It’s just a capsule that you buy at the health food store and it’s to promote, it’s a B vitamin is my understanding and it promotes hair growth.

So, I am kind of tackling it from the outside with a topical and from the inside with an ingestible vitamin B product.

I can’t tell yet if they are doing anything because I have only been taking them maybe three or four weeks.

I don’t know how long it takes to see a difference. My hair grows pretty quickly, I mean my feeling very quickly because I used to keep it short and I was constantly getting it cut to keep it in the style that I wanted.

But by the same token, it grows slowly enough it’s hard to see a real difference in hair growth I think.

I have every reason to believe they will both help because I trust the person who advised that I take them, but time will tell.
