Caffeine and Theophylline

Theophylline is a bronchodilator prescribed to treat the symptoms of bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis and emphysema. Avoid eating foods and drinking beverages that contain large amounts of caffeine. Caffeine can increase the concentration levels of theophylline in your blood.
