Dr. Carrie Louise Daenell encourages women who are interested in losing weight to add a couple of things to their weight loss strategy. She is a naturopathic physician advocating natural methods to women who want to lose unwanted weight.

Dr. Daenell recommends supplementing with CoQ10, D-ribose and Resperitol. D-ribose does not raise blood sugar, keeping it at a healthy lower rate instead. The form of Resperitol that you choose should be the one called Trans-Resperitol.

Dr. Daenell:
Yes, what I recommend is that they use a special reduced form, they call it, or Ubiquinol of CoQ10. A lot of people have heard of CoQ10 but there is a new form of CoQ10 that has suddenly become available that is the ready-to-go form. It’s the form in your body that you have to take CoQ10 converted into and as it turns out genetically, 35 to 50% of us don’t really do that very readily and that’s the form that your body needs to make that important cellular energy. So I use that.

I also recommend a supplement called D-ribose. D-ribose is a building block for cellular energy. It’s a 5-carbon sugar, as they call it. But it doesn’t raise your blood sugar in an unhealthy way; it actually helps to keep your blood sugar lowered in a healthy way.

And then finally, something called Resperitol. There are a lot of different Resperitol products out there; a lot of them aren't very effective. You have to use a special form of Resperitol called Trans-Resperitol and make sure it’s standardized to be a very potent dose.

That helps your body make more of the houses, or the powerhouses of the cell, that are actually responsible for producing the ATP. So when I combine these three nutrients, I have been getting great success with my patients.
