Portion control is just key to any weight loss method. Even if you eat healthy foods, if you don’t control your portions, more than likely you are still going to be eating too many calories. So, you may switch from regular pasta to whole wheat pasta, but if you are still eating too much of that whole wheat pasta, you are still going to gain weight. So, portion control is essential for actually controlling calories. It’s a basic method for controlling calories.
