Heart problems can cause trouble for anyone, no matter how old they are. Getting older is just one of the risk factors associated with heart disease. The other ones, like genetics, and family history should help families and young adults already out on their own make healthy choices when they consider if eating out fast food for the third time this week is a good idea.

People as young as 20 can have heart attacks, according to a Discovery Health article online. Coronary artery disease can begin to develop in the teenage years. Kids need to learn healthy habits early so they can carry those throughout their lives. Parents can lead the way with setting a good example when it comes to eating right and exercising regularly. In this way, parents can guide their children to ensure they don’t lead sedentary lifestyles (another risk factor for heart disease).

Their articles are not a substitute for medical advice although we hope you can gain knowledge from their insight.
