Well, that starts with how bowel habits affect hemorrhoids, and that is either diarrhea or constipation. And if your dietary or lifestyle habits contribute to that, then your dietary or lifestyle habits can be affecting your habits. So the important things are, try to avoid foods that are constipating and to make sure that you have a diet that’s high in fiber and have an adequate fluid intake, which is at least half a gallon of liquids a day.
