Hi, my name is Anne and I first realized I had an issue when I was roughly 12-years-old. I was embarrassed about it for a while so it took me a while to get the appropriate help that I needed and I received help about four years ago. I am 28-years-old right now so when I was 24 I started seeking help.

I was 16-years-old. I had realized that I was sweating all a lot during school, not necessarily in sports. I am a very active person and I thought that maybe, you know, it’s my sports, after school, maybe I am just overly excited, I don’t know and I realized when I was sitting in school and just wearing normal shirts that I looked in my closet for I couldn’t wear those shirts anymore. There was a problem. I was sweating through my shirts. I was uncomfortable. I didn’t want to raise my hand in class and I realized when I was speaking with my cousins that they had it too and it was not even a problem. “Oh Anne, please, that’s in our genes,” is what I was been told. So I was quite shocked when I was 16 years old finding this out that it’s actually not just me. It’s kind of normal, so.
