Early Morning Struggles with Lung Cancer

6:30am on a Saturday morning. What am I doing up?

I feel horrible this morning! This is not a good start to the day. I already feel my whole body aching and I feel really bloated today. I had a pretty busy day yesterday. I actually made it to physical therapy and occupational therapy! Tammy and I spent a good portion of the day running a couple of errands. We met up with Tera and her kids at the railroad park in the afternoon and then headed to Sapporo for dinner. Of course the place was packed so we ended up just picking up some food and heading home. It would have been fun for Colby to see the teppan yaki, but we were not about to wait an hour for a table.

Tonight Tammy and I got a babysitter. It will be nice to spend time with her…just having adult time. I’m not use to having kids around so much and it’s a little tiring! This will be the first time in a long time that I will have gone out. We may go check out a new steakhouse in Scottsdale…hopefully I am feeling better as the day goes on. Usually I feel horrible in the morning and by night I am feeling okay.

We value and respect the experiences of all of our HERWriters, but everyone is different. Many of our writers are speaking from personal experience, and what's worked for them may not work for you. Their articles are not a substitute for medical advice although we hope you can gain knowledge from their insight.
