Getting Things Done

Yeah! This week is finally over and now I will be on my way to Park City tomorrow. The surgery went great…I barely even had any pain the past few days. The house remodel is under control and should be done in the next few weeks, and the appliances for my kitchen all came in today!

The microwave was supposed to come at a later time, but when I arrived at the house today I was surprised to see everything in place. Tera’s mom, Verdeen, was already there and worked with the appliance guy to get everything in place and completed.

The house is in shambles right now. There is dust everywhere! The poor kitties are in the house hiding. Tasha at least has come out to check everything out and say hi, but Sissy is still hiding under the couch. I don’t blame them, there are people in and out of the house all day and lots of loud noise. All of the items for the bathrooms are in and at the house except for the granite and the glass mosaic tiles, which still need to be picked out. It seems like everything is moving very quickly.

I will need to stay at a hotel for a few more days when I get back to town and have the cleaning crew come to do some deep cleaning. Then I will finally be able to move back in. I have to admit, staying at the Montelucia has been awesome over the past week. I could definitely handle staying here another week. Now that I’m an ambassador, I automatically get upgraded to the larger rooms! Whoo hoo!

My hair is growing because I haven’t had chemo for awhile and won’t have it again until the 30th. I will have my petscan sometime in early Jan. I have been feeling really good over the past few weeks. I have had a decent amount of energy, as well. I have even gone out to eat a couple of times!

I'm so glad you're feeling a bit better and it's wonderful to get your house in order, although I know all that dust and mess is a pain but it'll be worth it in the end.

Congrats on your ambassadorship and yay for upgrades!

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and even better new year...
