Dr. Patel:

Most patients who are diagnosed with lung cancer have undergone some sort of chest imaging. Many patients will have a cancer that is easily identifiable on a chest x-ray, but really, the vast majority of people will undergo a CT scan or CAT scan at some point in their diagnosis.
