Here is the final installment for how to treat blood pressure naturally. If you missed the first 2 installments you can review the previous posts. I will focus on food and nutrition in this segment.
Nutrition is another critical factor related to treating blood pressure using natural methods. If the patient has a high sodium intake it usually means that the patient is eating highly processed foods that use salt as a preservative. A solution to this problem is to eat more whole foods, food that you are preparing yourself. Examples of types of food to increase are salads, fruits and vegetables as snacks, seasoning and cooking meats, chicken and fish yourself and preparation of whole grains. If you are not familiar with what is considered a processed foods her are some examples: lunch meats, canned soups, frozen meals, basically foods that coming out of a box or canned already prepared.
With respect to the foods there are others like food sensitivities that can raise pressure. Nutrient deficiencies are another problem that generally occurs when some one is malnourished because they are not getting enough to eat or they are eating foods that do not have the correct balance of nutrients.
