Dr. Sanderson:
Surgery for non-small cell lung cancer that is localized is usually the preferred form of treatment. It depends, of course, on it’s location and it depends on the general health otherwise of the, of the patient but if a lung cancer can be resected without evidence of any spread, that’s the best hope for permanent cure.
