Dr. Williams:
One of the problems with ovarian cancer is that it’s unlikely to cause symptoms early in the course. Once the cancer is more advanced it can cause symptoms such as abdominal bloating, a feeling of fullness, pressure in the lower abdomen, feeling full after a meal, having frequent urinary symptoms. If a woman is experiencing any of these for more than two weeks they should see their physician.
