Illness comes, we treat it, we deal with it, and if there are extenuating environmental situations that we can manage to enhance the recovery, we do. But getting into the “why” is playing into a guilt that is unhealthy.

Life is an evolving series of unknowns that we just deal with, because if you get lost in the ”whys,” the stress of not being able to answer that question will contaminate your recovery.
