VIDEO: Dr. Citrin - Cancer Types And Stages, What Do You Treat?

March 19, 2009 - 9:21pm 372 reads 0 comments

Watch as Dr. Citrin describes the cancer types and stages he treats at CTCA.

Dr. Citrin:
Well here at CTCA, my practice is almost exclusively breast cancer. We treat patients, I treat patients with all stages of disease, not only advanced disease, but also stage 1 and stage 2 disease where as a medical oncologist I work very closely with both my surgical and radiation therapy colleagues.

In terms of more advanced disease, stage 3 and stage 4 disease, that’s really where medical oncology, using drug treatment, becomes the most important treatment modality.
