Dr. McLucas:
So here’s a schematic view of the uterus with fibroids on the outside, fibroids on the inside, and then fibroids within the wall of the uterus. Most of the time, a fibroid that’s 9 or 10 centimeters, 5 or 6 inches, will go on one side of the wall and go inside and outside at the same time. So this is just showing you different types of fibroids.
