Dr. O'Connor:
Women aren’t off their feet very long after hip replacement surgery because we have patients walking the next day. In fact, we will sometimes walk them later the same day of their surgery if we were able to do their operation early in the morning. So we will get them up that same day in the chair, taking a few steps in the room. We get them up and get them walking, and that’s good for the patient and prevents blood clots and all kinds of things. So it’s, we get people up and going.
