Dr. Shukla defines a heart related condition known as Supra Ventricular Tachycardia (SVT).

Dr. Shukla:
SVT is a generic term for any arrhythmias that occur in the upper chambers of the heart. It’s an abbreviation for supraventricular tachycardia which just is any fast heart rate that occurs above the ventricles which are the lower chambers of the heart.

There’s a number of subcategories of SVT, but generally we do not know what type of subcategory you fit into until we perform a procedure called an electrophysiology study, or EPS.
