Dr. Wright:
Intuition is an amazing word, and we don’t know very much about it. What we do know is that when the body is assaulted, all sorts of things start happening that are new, but are very powerful, and opening up that concept of intuition, that is that the body and the spirit may know things that the mind doesn’t know, and to allow that dialogue, to really become fruitful rather than just putting it aside because you have a task to do, okay. This is the most important task you’ll ever have, and that is this dialogue with yourself and your body and being open to a wide variety of possibilities. That’s the compassionate communication.
It is with the intuition, with the heart, and with the mind; not just with the mind. It is total engagement and allowing yourself to hear things, pausing to hear things internally, and then seeing that manifestation externally, and then having a dialogue with it. It may be a form of treatment that you’ve never thought of. It may be a kind of taking care of yourself that you have never done before. Pause, take it in, and then explore it.
It’s a time for playful courage. You really want to be courageous, but you also want to kind of tap into this other side of self that maybe hasn’t been as well developed, and that releases the healing power because it reduces your stress. Intuition creates opportunities. Choice reduces stress and that it provides you with a sense of empowerment and purpose.
