I think what happens sometimes when a woman is diagnosed with cancer and starts on her journey of treatment and healing, is that she may, particularly in the face of the fear and the stress related to that, may lose sight of strengths and resources she has in herself.

Part of what a mind-body therapist or a counselor can do for that person is to reflect back to her the strengths that the therapist, the counselor, can see in that woman that she might have lost track of herself.
