Often long-term medication use for people suffering from chronic pain can lead to addiction, constipation and an overall feeling of ill health. Dr. Svetlana Kogan offers some alternative options to bring relief to these sufferers.

The first step is to assess the type of pain, and the individual's particular circumstances. Then Dr. Kogan recommends anti-inflammatory supplements, and possible therapies. Acupuncture, therapeutic massage, electromagnetic pulsation wave therapy and hynosis are all viable options for pain relief.

(Transcribed from video interview)

Dr. Kogan:
Millions and millions of American people are suffering from chronic pain, and they have been through every doctor and every medication. A lot of the times they are on opiate drugs, constipated, and addicted and very miserable. We have to address chronic pain on the individual basis.

After studying exactly what trauma brought it on, we have to assess the person’s ability to exercise, to eat proper nutritious balanced diet, we try to use supplements which are anti-inflammatory in nature, which have a lot of herbs included for anti-inflammatory effects.

We are utilizing therapeutic massage for bringing these people alleviation of their muscle spasms and working with their tendinitis. And we also use a lot of acupuncture at Doctors at Trump Place, as well as electromagnetic pulsation wave therapy.

I have used hypnosis for pain management. For mild to moderate pain it is effective. For the severe pain disorders, I recommend electromagnetic and acupuncture.

Their articles are not a substitute for medical advice although we hope you can gain knowledge from their insight.
