Can Hypnotherapy Help Women With Phobias? - Crystal Dwyer (VIDEO)

Crystal Dwyer:

Hypnotherapy is super-effective with phobias because with phobias–phobias are completely irrational. So, it’s a lot of subconscious programming that’s going on really beneath the surface. So, we do the process, the excavation process. We really try to go back and figure out the original time that this fear came about. There are so many different scenarios in our lives and something--usually it’s a specific incident that will trigger a phobia. So we go back into that incident and neutralize the fear and take the person through a rational process, the woman, you know, and we do a little bit of coaching with it too.

We try to reframe that situation and then, make it a safe situation through the hypnosis process, and it’s kind of a desensitizing process, but it’s super-powerful, very effective, and things, it literally neutralizes things. I mean, when we are finished with the sessions, it’s almost like it just doesn’t exist anymore for many people. So it’s exciting.
