Hip Replacement: Has Your Mobility Improved?

Bobette explains if her mobility has improved since undergoing hip replacement surgery at Banner McKee Medical Center.

Bobette:
I feel great and Jim, my husband, says I walk much better than I have in a long time. Last night I did two and a half miles on the elliptical. I can step up without, you know, grinding my teeth and knowing it’s going to hurt. I can bend down. I can go for longer periods of time without being uncomfortable, the discomfort of the hip pain. I can stand longer - those kinds of things. There are things that I can do that I just could not do before and I wonder why waited so long.
