Bobette recalls how the Banner Home Health Care staff assisted in her recovery after hip replacement surgery.
Bobette:
After my release I had Banner Home Health Care and it was also excellent. I had Mary as my RN, I had Suzy as my physical therapist, and I had Elaine as my occupational therapist and each one of them seemed just perfect for me as if they were hand-chosen, and Mary was tender, caring, and also kind.
And the physical therapist Suzy was a little more pushy and she made me get up and move and she was the one who walked me down the block the first time and she was the one who made my husband put up bars on the outside of the house and on the two garage steps that she felt that in the winter I might need those and she was the one who had me doing my exercise and pushed me just because I was willing to do 10 and she said, “Oh no, I think you can do 15.”
And so, but not and I don’t mean pushy in an aggressive way; pushy in a nice way; just, “No, no, you can do more. I know you can,” that just that little incentive that you need.
