The connection between ovarian cancer and breast cancer is that, first of all, they’re both hormonal-based cancers and many women are at higher risk if they’ve had one, they’re at higher risk for the other. So the important thing for women to know is that if you do have breast cancer, you need to be very vigilant about monitoring for ovarian cancer and vice versa.
