Ellen:
Well, my first three weeks after being diagnosed I cried a lot, felt very lonely, very scared and I have the most incredible husband who lost his daughter to complications from leukemia when she was 13. So he kind of had been there, done that and he also had a melanoma three years ago. So the cancer thing wasn’t new to him. He is very much positive and an optimist and a realist and so, he kind of honed in on me everyday that it is what it is and to take it one day at a time. Find people who have been there to talk to and I think that was the turning point for me, was finding the Cancer Center, finding resources and people that I could go to.
