Paula recalls if she and her daughters have been tested for the BRCA1 gene that places a woman at an increased risk for ovarian cancer.
Paula:
I had finished my chemotherapy--the first round in, I want to say June of 2005, and that’s when I went for the genetic testing and found that I was positive for the BRCA1 gene. And my daughters both went, and they both found out they were positive for the genetic mutation.
