When I went to the surgeon the surgeon said, after he examined me, “You cannot have any alcohol. You must eliminate all fat from your diet, and you have to go back to the GI doctor.” I said, “Do you think I have a pancreas issue here?” He said, “I am not going to say at this point,” but he said, “These are the things I want you to do.” And so I have been on a low-fat diet or hardly any fat at all, and absolutely no alcohol.
