my thoughts on those including our president. i was brought up to never discuss a number of subjects with others including but not limitied to politics, religion, etc...i've since grown up, educated myself and grown dismayed at what i've learned. i refer to the mindset of those who beiieve that gov't should serve any purpose other that what the constitiution outlines. foreign policy and protecting its constitiutents) thereby remaining small. our current administration and its leader have i'm sure the best of intentions but i am dismayed that no one seems to be looking at the history of other countries that have taken the path our country is now being led down. our president panders to our american over indulged sense of entitlement and with good reason. many beilieve his outrage for those 30 million or so who haven't health insurance but i thought that that is what a county hospital, clinics etc are for. not to mention medicaid, medical etc and the many other programs out there. What will we do should the gov't stop patting us on our prettly little heads and telling us not to worry, that the big nany gov't will make the big bad wolf go away only to pull off the disguse and we find we are dealing with the real big bad wolf. despite the many who've protested this health care bill, the elietiest in congress and the administration simply ride rough shod, and those in political office who are and have been fighting this bill since the beginning knowing it for what it is, a power grab another step deeper into socialism, continue to rally. i'm cheering them on.
