Dr. Harner recalls how long a patient is immobilized following posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) surgery.
Dr. Harner:
I usually immobilize for about a week and then we begin motion, and there’s very specific ways you have to do that because if you are not very careful and give very specific instruction, they can stretch the graft out very easily.
