Nurse Schneiderman:

Some time during the second trimester would be a great time to sign up for prenatal classes and that would be a good time for you and your husband to come in and start learning about what to expect during your delivery and after the delivery, take breastfeeding classes if you are planning to breastfeed which is the best way to feed your baby, and a variety of things that can prepare you for your delivery and after your baby is born.

Here at Banner Desert we have a variety of classes. We have prenatal classes. We have classes for future dads. We have classes to prepare you for a cesarean section if you know that’s how you are going to deliver. We also offer tours so that you can come and see our facilities and you can see our neonatal intensive care unit, which is very important to know just in case there is a problem with your baby that we have the finest facilities to care for any unforeseen problems that may arise.
