After a recent stress fracture in my foot, I've been looking for stories on the web written by women going through osteoporosis.
I had a DEXA bone scan, and the good news is that my bones are fine -- the stress fracture was merely from stepping on my foot the wrong way (I've always been a bit of a klutz). But it brought my attention to my bones and joints in a way that nothing else could.
