Pre menopause symptoms can begin as early as 37 or 38 in (Western) cultures. Usually menopause normally begins at ages 40 or older. However the signs of menopause is also called pre menopause. Officially menopause actually begins when your period stops for good, researchers can’t determine the exact age when menopause really begins, because everybody’s body functions differently.
Women that experience pre menopause symptoms usually gets erratic periods up to almost eight years before stopping. The only way to know for sure is if you have no period for a year. Some women have experience periods every other month which is quite normal. Another symptoms is when your period gets shorter and lighter, while some women gets a more longer blood flow. Ironic isn’t it!!! Although researchers found that many women menstruation stops abruptly, but can happen in some cases. This immediate cessation is not typical of pre menopause symptoms but reason being irregular periods in per menopause is when women skip ovulating in some months.
Ovulation in irregular menstrual cycles, normally a woman would start off with primordial follicle. These are ovum surrounded by layers of cells. Ovum is released from the ovaries every month in the menstrual cycle. A primary follicle is occur when about 6 to 12 primordial follicles with ovum inside starts growing.
There are two hormones that produces anterior pituitary gland, Follicle Simulating Hormone (FSH) and (LH) Luteinizing Hormone. These two hormones plays a very important role in pre menopause in women. Overall throughout a women life, there are about three to four hundred are reliable to develop and ovulate will occur in every women life at any point of time. My mom told me that she experiences hot flashes every now and then. I was watching the news one day and there was a woman who lived in England age 56 and she was pregnant, can this happen? Can women conceive even though they have already gone through menopause? In some cases a young teenage girl at age 14 haven’t started seeing her first menstrual cycle yet and she can got pregnant. My question is do men go through menopause too?
