I was diagnosed at 20 with SVT. This is a heart condition that you are born with. I was 3 months pregnant and hospitalized by the time a doctor finally explained to me what was going on. I ended up having 2 SVT ablations back to back one month after my daughter was born. There were difficulties during the surgery and I now have a pacemaker. I have fainting episodes constantly, especially when rising from a sitting, laying or kneeling position. I loose my hearing and have to lean against a wall or sit down immediately. My cardiologist still cannot officially diagnose the problem. I do have very low blood pressure and have been diagnosed with syncope but evidently there is nothing that can be done about my situation. At least that's what the doctor is telling me. Eating a high sodium diet helps to increase my blood pressure and slow down the rapidness of the fainting spells I have discovered. Thanks for listening.
