Public regarding Surrogacy and Egg Donation and the like. It is so frustrating to read that "do to the economic crisis" there are more women then ever becoming egg donors or surrogate mothers. What REALLY needs to be said that although, perhaps, more applications for these types of programs may be filled out that doesn't mean that those same women are being accepted as being qualified donors or surrogates.
There are several health issues to consider and there is a huge time commitment that is never talked about. There are age requirements, lifestyle concerns, medications to take and not to mention you have to be "chosen" by the Intended Parents. This is not a quick financial fix for anyone nor is it a sure path to parenthood! Research is the key, always.
