Will taking a daily aspirin reduce my risk of blood clot from birth control pills? Is daily aspirin safe? What would I need to know?

37, 9 months postpartum. Hormone tests show I'm in PeriMenopause (mom was menopausal by 40, as was my sister). Taking birth control pills to help ease some symptoms, help with acne and hair issues but am worried about increased blood clot risk. I'm taking Ortho Novum 777 which I believe is a First Generation pill?
