I'm telling all you lovers of women out there that it may seem hot to have dirty linens stained with the aftermath of your love and the towels that you both just used to dry each other's shower water from one another's loins hanging in the doorway; the chocolate sauce-covered dishes piled high in the sink beside the egg foo yung remnants you dripped ceremoniously into one another's mouths but, believe me, it cannot go on.
For all you lovers of women and the women who love themselves (can I get a "heck yea!"?) having a dirty or messy environment will lower her sex drive if, over time, this becomes the norm. OCD-clean is not what I'm getting at here. As a woman with OCD in the family, I know what I'm talking about and I'm not being discriminatory. It doesn't have to be perfect and it doesn't have to have gone through the ultra-sanitizer, but it does have to be clean (sheets) it does have to be somewhat organized (closet, drawers) and it does have to be sort of, well, neat and homey (pillows on couch, not on the floor, bathrooms presentable). Because if you don't want your woman, or yourself if you are this woman reading this, to become overly anxious about the state of the laundry, the unwashed dishes or the gross toilet bowl, you have to take care of these things for her to truly unwind.
Women have a powerful nesting instinct whether or not they are in their ninth month of pregnancy, so for women, part of easing her into the mood for sex and intimacy is creating an environment that is pleasing and neat, relatively clean and organized. Going over the top and wining and dining a woman may work too, but if you have an ongoing relationship remember that taking on a lot of the household chores will help her relax and let down her guard much more quickly and effectively than even a gift will.
Perhaps men are this way as well, yet, not being a man, I cannot honestly speak to this reality. While a woman may like a hot and dirty one night stand with a true slob, regular neatness and cleanliness will make a woman feel safe. To woo a woman, you want her to feel safe - this seems to be a conundrum for so many women who like a little "danger" in their love lives but honestly, I think most of us want some "safe" danger like, "Oooh,you're tying me up - these restraints are sooooo silky," while wondering "I wonder what brand these are?"
Women will clean and tidy up their space for themselves as well as for their partners and children. It helps us feel good about ourselves, our lives and our homes. It clears our heads, it perks us up, it cheers us up. Coming home to a clean house makes us want to start dreaming of other things again, including naughty things, frees up our minds to stop worrying about the laundry to worrying about what's underneath your clothes. In other words, a clean house may make for an awfully dirty mind.
