I got tonsilitis for the first time in April this year. I am 32 and am wondering why it would start as an adult. I dont think it has actually gone away, it improves somewhat and then flares up again every few weeks. When it improves my throat feels better but my tonsils still look swollen. I also have a lump on my tongue and one on my throat, both quite close to my right tonsil, that wont go away.
I am allergic to antibiotics but have tried echinacea (which usually works well for me), olive leaf throat spray, coloidal silver & betadine throat gargle.
If anyone has any advice it would be muchly appreciated. Thanks
