thyroid dimensions are as follows: 6.1x1.5x2.5 cm (right), 4.9x1.4x2.0 cm (left), and isthmus is 5 mm, anteropostieraly. Nodule is hypoechoic. What is the size of a normal thyroid, and what does hypoechoic mean?
