For over a dozen years I have suffered from extreme arm pain. For no reason, both of my arms start to ache and most of the time the pain goes across my upper torso. About 10% of the time I also get very warm and perspire all over my body. This can last anywhere from five minutes to five hours. The pain can be very intense to the point that I'm in tears or it can be less severe (but it still hurts). It cannot be tied to time of day (although it most often happens in the morning and has awakened me from sleep), hot or cold, eating a specific food, activity (although it happens often when I am in an exercise class but hardly ever when playing golf). This used to occur about once or twice a month up until October, 2010 when it happened every single day. Since then it has been happending about five out of seven days a week. My doctors have given me every test they can think of to no avail. It is NOT fibromyalga which is what is most often suggested. Has anyone out there ever experience something similar or has known someone with the same symptoms?
