After a complete Hysterectomy eight years ago I had been on a low dose hormone replacement therapy. One year ago I decided to stop taking the hormones. Since that time I have had daily Hot Flashes, a 40 pound weight gain, trouble sleeping, and have noticed that I have trouble putting my thoughts into words. My Physician as if I wanted to go back on the hormones. At age 52, I have considered going back on the hormone therapy, but I cannot continue it forever, and will be back in this same boat when I stop later. Would it be a lesser of two evils?
