I've been having symptoms that suggest to me I may be experiencing perimenopause or hormone issues. Since the age of around 38, (I'm 42 now) I started having bouts of sweating, night sweats, weight gain, and problems with thinking of words when I'm trying to talk. My obgyn says if my periods are still regular, which they are, that it's not menopause. I had my regular doctor check my hormone levels and he said they looked fine.
Can your hormones be in "normal levels" but not be right for you?
I know something is off but just don't know what or how to find out what it is. I can tolerate most of the symptoms but being incapable of thinking of simple words to express what I'm thinking really scares me.
Would really love some answers.
