On January 25th 2011, I was getting out of my car and slipped on the ice and fell out of my car, while still hanging onto the steering wheel with my right hand/arm and fell hard hitting my back from the upper legs all the way up my head on the door jam and than hitting the icy concrete and fell under my open door. I have been seeing a doctor since April as the pain got much worse in my upper arm (where i had a small bruise inside the arm for about a week after the accident and was sore, but just thought it was sore mucles at the time, but as it got worse I saw a doctor. I have had theraphy exercise, which i do at home, heat and cold packs, pain meds, inflamatory meds, but I still have hard time sleeping or moving, dressing, bathing, bathroom, house work, shaving under my arm, reaching, doing computer work, especially the mouse, which is my every day work for 10hrs a day. I still get swollen in my arm, front area shoulder bone, pain in the shoulder after feeling it in my upper arm (bicep area) It radiates down into the elbow and fingers and some times up into my shoulder and neck area and than I get headaches, but mostly it is in the upper arm and is hard to open doors or hold them open for others for example. What may be causing this and what else can I do or have done? I am really afraid they will release me from care, even though i am still in severe pain most of the time and can't lift my right arm all the way up. Theraphy helps to give me more motion but not complete and not with out pain.
