Are there any breast cancer patients that have taken Clonidine to help with flashes?

I was originally prescribed Effexor but I kept hearing nightmare stories about weight gain, brain zapping and it being hard to get off of so I didn't take it. My Oncologist suggested Clonidine but I wanted to get some feedback.
