I'm 34 years old and about a month ago I had a needle biopsy done on a tumor in my thyroid on the left side of my neck. I also have a painless, enlarged lymph node the size of a quarter on the same side of my neck. The biopsy came out inconclusive and I'm having another one in 4 months. Recently, I started having pain in my lymph nodes in my breasts. At times it's stabbing pain, under my arm pit and right above both breasts where the lymph nodes are. Other symptoms include night sweats, fatigue, small fevers and hot flashes, cold hands and feet. I feel bloated after eating and don't have the energy to do my daily running, so I've gained 10 pounds. I've seen my GP and an Endocrinologist. My GP thinks I'm crazy and the endo did a metabolic test on my blood along with thyroid function tests and hormone level tests because he told me I sounded peri menopausal. All tests were in normal ranges except my vitamin D, which was only one number below normal. So he said he couldn't do anything for me other than retest the thyroid tumor in 6 months. I don't have medical insurance and I don't know who to go to or where to begin because noone wants to dig a little deeper I'm assuming because of my uninsured status. Am I crazy, or are the breast pain and swollen neck lymph node and other symptoms connected and cause for concern? I know something isn't right! Certainly if these docs saw symptoms of cancer, wouldn't they test for it? I just want answers and don't know where to go from here.
