Mood: Courage – Doing My Best
The ego is a very interesting thing. It takes blame and gets discouraged when things don’t go the way it wants. And it takes credit and gets excited when it has its way.
This morning I found my ego playing these familiar old tricks on me. Since I know most of them by now, I chose not to take the bait.
Sometimes we get attached to specific goals, emotionally so, and this can be a trap. We have let go of attachments to outcome and be willing to be lead with our heart – giving our best, always. That’s what I do. And that’s all any of us can really do anyway.
