I have been diagnosed with adenomyosis, which I was told is the likely cause of my very heavy bleeding/clotting and extreme cramping that has gotten progressively worse after the birth of my third child three years ago. After given my treatment options, I first chose the least invasive approach - the Mirena IUD. However, I suffered numerous side effects and decided to have Mirena removed after a few months. Therefore, the options I have left are 1) wait it out until menopause (I am only 35 years, however); 2) cyroablation; and, lastly, 3) hysterectomy. I do not want surgery, thus I am seeking advice whether cyroablation of the uterus has been successful with adenomyosis? Thank you.
