13 years ago my husband had a vasectomy, we have never had any scares or any problems, I realized on the last day of the month of June that I hadnt had my period for that month, not a big deal, my periods are not regular, I have had 2 thyroid surgeries and they are constantly changing my hormone meds to try to adjust them to the right strength. So anyway, on the 1st of July I started spotting and thought ok finally going to start, just continued to spot not really much of anything for the first few days, on the morning of the 5th, i woke up and was in the store, upon leaving the store i told my youngest daughter that i was hurting really bad, we needed to hurry cause i was getting sick, we got home, i ran to bathroom in horrible pain, thought i was going to be sick, the pain was almost unbearable, my daughter brought me a cold cloth and after a few minutes the pain started easing up a little and i strained to use the bathroom and felt what i thought was a blood clot pass, and i told my husband ok i feel a little better now. When i went to clean up i noticed on the toilet paper was a small marble shape clear thing, it had something inside it, i showed it to my husband and we joked about me having been pregnant, i was like yeah ok whatever. About 5 minutes later after I got up and left the bathroom i was walking to the kitchen and stopped because i felt myself pass another "clot" i ran back to bathroom and this time the "clot" was bigger and gray in color and very solid. We have 2 daughters, my husband had the vasectomy after our youngest was born, i had 3 miscarriages before carrying our oldest, so I am no stranger to miscarriages, but it is so hard to believe that after all these years i could have been pregnant. That evening I did take a pregnancy test and tested positive, I am 37 and am faithful to my husband, and I have spoken to a nurse but have not been seen. I have even researched the cancer possiblity, I am just lost and confused. Should my husband see his doctor and tell them what happened? Should I be seen? I just dont know what to do or where to turn. Any help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated!
